BUZZ FOILDRIVE BOARD

The BUZZ  FOILDRIVE BOARD is the future of foiling swells

SURFOILZ now has two BUZZ BOARD options thanks to the guys at FOIL DRIVE who have achieved the holy grail of developing a light weight eFOIL product, adapted to fit existing Foil Boards.    

Their FOIL DRIVE innovation is based on adding a lightweight motor driven folding propeller to the foil mast and installing a lightweight battery unit on the deck of the board, connected by a flexible power cable, using a wireless controller.

The term ASSIST is derived from the fact that unlike other high powered heavy Electric Foil boards, the FOIL DRIVE concept of intermittent motor use to engage the foil within the wind generated swell, enables the rider to disconnect the motor when up on foil and continue moving with the energy from mother nature.

The huge reduction in weight and the intermittent power use concept increases the life of the battery significantly

Various locations of the motor vertically on the mast and battery position on the board  create differing performance characteristics of the BUZZ BOARD.

There are currently two SURFOILZ  - BUZZ FOILDRIVE BOARD configurations

BUZZ  The FDA GEN2 unit is attached to the bottom of the board.  

BUZZ Plus: The FDA GEN1 with the unit embedded within the board.
